Sorry I havent updated, but life has been hectic!

Concert, Classics play and third year theatre studies evening. All in a fortnight. NEVER AGAIN I SWEAR. A big thank you to c_p_foxy for playing the flute for Ulysses - just think, no more C#s or Fnats from me ever again!!

Am now into Easter holidays YAY! - Are you all holidaying? Much work? Are you going anywhere, anyone? I, for my part, have MOUNTAINS of books to read, and typing up all of my notes so that I can....uhhmmm...actually read them!...whooops....

Apologies for not updating for ages, but life has been manic rollercoaster recently. Have evaded the bug at school (so far even though weve broken up now...), which is good news.

Have 3 essays over half term - one music one to finish, and two english ones - one on emma, the other comparing poems (shudder shudder..) And soooo much music to learn up etc - there is no time!!! I am meant to be able to play the first two movements of strauss horn concerto piano accomp - the entire orchestral score reduced. My head hurts, and a part of its in 7bs!!!! SEVEN FLATS I TELL YOU. EVIL SOD WAS STRAUSS. Ahh i feel better now. ALso have Bach, Haydn, Debussy and Schcedrin on piano and trying to learn all major organ works of Bach over half term... including two trio sonatas and b minor prelude and fugue. I can just about play one of the trio sonatas but slowly. Tis nasty. And bminor prel et fugue? Dont go there....

How are you all? I know coloursofdusk had some good exciting news recently, and c_p_foxy is ill - hope she feels better soon et happy birthday! But tell me all and anything.. please??

Just a shortish note to say Ive done my GCSEs this year, and I finally got the results this morning!

GCSEs are the fairly big exams for 15/16yr olds in Britain, in case any of you were wondering.

So, heres what I got:

English A*
English Literature A*
Maths A*
History A*
Latin A*
Spanish A*
Chemistry A*
Physics A*
Biology A*
Music A
Religious Studies A
Additional Mathematics B

and my Music AS Level (next step up, as it were) I got an A in too (thats the highest grade at AS, no A*s...)

Well....mainly books.

Firstly, hugs and sympathy to they who need it - actually, thats more than one person, but only one of those two people will actually read this, and they knows who they are...
Secondly, whoever is English out there, and has just taken GCSEs, good luck with all of your results this Thursday - Im getting nervous, though not too much, as my main worry was my Music AS Level, in which I got an A grade (for anyone who doesnt know, thats the highest you can get, for now.....)

Anyways, good luck to all, I hope all goes well, and post your results on here and let us compare/fret/run around like headless chickens!

Now, onto books. I am an avid devourer of Terry Pratchett and his Discworld series, but I realise the need to read some really decent literature, so, please, people, give me titles and authours and series-es (if thats a word, which I very much doubt it is, lol).

coloursofdusk, I was going to say something to you, however Ive forgotten, other than you-know-what. Oh yes, now I remember - I found some pictures of the four of us at Christmas at Uncle Stu's old house in '99. I am going to scan them in, and I'll send you them sometime - we all look ridiculous! (Well, I look like a hyperactive twit, but then I usually do, so...whats new, pussycat, eh?)

Anyway, I guess I should go, as its nearing time for me to at least begin to Ponder sleeping......

Well its been a busy old year of education to say the least: lots of GCSEs and 1 AS Level out of the way now (Music) and onwards to yet more schooling (yawn) But for now, I am off to sunny sicily.
